Did Allu Arjun increase his fees to ₹150 crore amid Pushpa’s success? Here’s what we know

Pushpa: The Rule has already struck an impressive deal for its OTT release worth a whopping Rs 275 crore.

South superstar Allu Arjun has emerged as one of the most bankable actors, particularly following the success of his film Pushpa, and now, ahead of the release of Pushpa 2, the actor appears to have increased his costs to an unprecedented level. If reports are to be accepted, he will now earn Rs 150 crore for each film.

According to recent rumours, the makers of Pushpa: The Rule, also known as Pushpa 2, have already inked a lucrative agreement for its OTT distribution worth Rs 275 crore, which has resulted in a 30% increase in Allu Arjun’s pay.

The actor, who previously charged roughly Rs 100 crore for his flicks, will now charge Rs 150 crore moving forward. As a result, Allu Arjun is now one of the highest-paid actors in Indian cinema, not just in the South.

Pushpa 2 is slated to enter theatres on Independence Day this year, and a few days ago, the producers shattered the internet with a video of the actor in a never-seen-before avatar. In the video, he is shown transforming into ‘Ardhnarishwar’, which means ‘half man, part woman, and part God’.

Rashmika Mandanna will return as Srivalli in Pushpa 2: The Rule, while Fahadh Faasil will play a major part. It is probably one of the year’s most anticipated flicks.

Besides Pushpa 2, Allu Arjun is working on a project alongside Atlee, the details of which have yet to be revealed. The actor will begin production on the project following the release of Pushpa 2.
