After Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, many big names of Bollywood were blamed for nepotism and favouritism. Karan Johar and Alia Bhatt were called out as people thought they treated Sushant badly.

Today, Dharma Productions CEO, Apoorva Mehta was spotted at the Amboli Police giving his statement for the Sushant Singh Rajput case. He also carried a copy of the contract of the film ‘Drive’ which starred Sushant and Jacqueline Fernandez. The CEO submitted a copy of the contract and gave his statement to the police. Hindustan Times reports that Apoorva was there for 3 hours and was questioned about Sushant.

‘Drive’ was directed by Tarun Mansukhani and was supposed to have a theatrical release. In November 2019, the Dharma team decided to send it directly to an OTT platform skipping the big-screen release. This caused a tiff between Sushant and Karan as Sushant was unhappy with the platform release.

Karan Johar has been called out by many people on Instagram for nepotism and favouritism. He has also sidelined Sushant and didn’t give him the respect he needed. Reports say that Karan Johar will also be at the police station soon this week to record his statement.

Even though it has been over a month since Sushant’s demise, most people have not been able to get over the tragic news. So far 38 people have been questioned regarding his case. Aditya Chopra, Rhea Chakraborty, Shanoo Sharma, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Sanjana Sanghi have given their statements. Sushant’s last film ‘Dil Bechara’ has received immense love and is currently streaming on Disney+Hotstar.
