Bigg Boss Finalist Shehnaaz Gill’s friend and Mujhse Shaadi Karoge contestant Mayur Verma recently lodged a complaint with the cybercrime department of the Mumbai police against Devoleena Bhattacharjee. All this began when Devoleena criticised Shehnaaz and Sidharth Shukla’s ‘Bhula Dunga’ chemistry and got into a war of words with Mayur Verma. Mayur lodged a complaint with the cyber-crime department accusing the Bigg Boss 13 contestant of tarnishing his image and defaming him on social media, on which Devoleena finally reacted.
In conversation with Hindustan Times, Devoleena Bhattacharjee said that she is not really aware of who Mayur Verma is and why he is using her name everywhere. Hindustan Times quoted her as saying, “Honestly I don’t know who this Mayur Verma is and why he is using my name everywhere. It could be a publicity stunt.” Calling Mayur Verma’s cyber-crime complaint a publicity stunt, Devoleena Bhattacharjee stated, “I believe ignorance is the bliss,” telling that the best thing that she can do is to ignore everything.
Devoleena has been further quoted by the same publication as saying, “Neither do I know this person nor about the complaint.” Devoleena once again confirmed that she is not aware of who Mayaur Verma is, and mentioned that she does not know about the complaint filed against her either. “Honestly, I don’t want to be tagged with (those) who I don’t even know and if my name is doing any good to him or anyone then god bless them.” She further told Hindustan Times. Finally, former the Bigg Boss 13 contestant clearly put out the message that she cares less about the complaint and the person who has filed it.
Earlier Mayaur Verma shared a picture on his social media of the complaint saw him accusing the former Bigg Boss contestant of tarnishing his image by liking and supporting tweets that bashed him. Verma also shared the tweet in question in the complaint report he filed against the actress.
