Cruise Drugs Case: NCB likely to demand for an extension in the custody of SRK’s son Aryan at bail hearing

The NCB is likely to demand for an extension in the custody of SRK’s son Aryan Khan today. As per the reports, this comes after the NCB arrested a foreign national from Bandra late Wednesday night. Report says that a commercial quantity of mephedrone was recovered from him.

The Narcotics Control Bureau is likely to demand an extension in the custody of SRK’s son Aryan Khan today. As per the reports, this comes after the NCB arrested a foreign national from Bandra late Wednesday night. The report says that a commercial quantity of mephedrone was recovered from him.

Meanwhile, it was found in an area that was close to both Aryan and his friend, Arbaaz Merchant. In the light of these new findings, it has been reported that the central agency may just ask for further custody of Aryan and the others arrested.

Aryan was initially brought into NCB’s custody for one day and then, on Monday, October 4, his custody was extended to October 7. The period ends today. Another side, senior counsel Satish Maneshinde, who is defending Aryan in the matter, is expected to make another application for bail.

However, Sameer Wankhede, the Zonal Director of the NCB has been fending off reports about the ‘credibility of the central agency amidst the ongoing drug case. Reacting to allegations of the entire cruise drug bust being “fake” and reports that ‘no drugs’ were found over there, Wankhede replied, “We are a highly competent and professional agency. For us, the prime importance is the NDPS act irrespective of the person or his standing.”
