Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan has been presented at the Killa Court after his arrest by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for alleged possession of banned narcotic drugs at a rave party at the Cordelia cruise.

Aryan Khan was booked under various sections ( 21(a), 27(a), 28, 29, 30, & 35) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS). His phone was seized and was sent for forensic examination.

Aryan’s lawyer Satish Manishinde defended Aryan’s involvement and emphasised that the arrest was purely based on his chat history. He also stated that Aryan was a private invitee on the cruise ship Cordelia. “He did not have a ticket or a boarding pass, no allotted seat number or cabin. He reached the dock to board and the authorities screened him. His luggage along with that of his friends was also screened and nothing was found,” Maneshinde told the court.

Defending this, The Narcotics Control Bureau AGS Anil Singh made an argument stating that the links in the form of pictures, chats are pointing towards an international racket. He also asserted that  Aryan Khan adopted various code names for price methods and that his detention is crucial for catastrophe with other condemned.

He also emphasised extending custody of the accused till October 11. The NCB brought about its assertion for an in-depth analysis into the case at the court hearing. NCB said that there is evidence of nexus with suppliers and peddlers including WhatsApp chats.
