Christine Baumgartner, Kevin Costner’s former wife, was spotted out without her wedding ring just a few days after their divorce.
She was spotted conducting errands in Los Angeles on Wednesday after leaving her husband of 18 years by divorcing him. Christine was wearing white trousers, a tan sweater and a denim jacket. She added accessories to her outfit in the form of a beaded bracelet, a Dior necklace, and a pair of big sunglasses despite removing the symbolic piece of jewellery.
The fashion designer appeared upbeat as she met a pal for lunch while giving photographers a small smile. Christine actually made a very expressive impression while chatting with her friend over a bite to eat while wearing her hair in a loose braid.
On Monday, the former model and Costner, filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences as the cause of the split. Additionally, she asked for joint custody of their three children Cayden, Hayes, and Grace.
Page Six was informed by a source that the Oscar winner was shocked by Baumgartner’s behaviour and that he would take her back if he didn’t want the divorce. As per the sources, they denied many rumours, adding that the star still has feelings for her and that there was no cheating issue. “It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond his control have transpired which have resulted in Mr. Costner having to participate in a dissolution of marriage action,” the Bodyguard of the actor said in a statement on Tuesday.
Costner previously spent 16 years with his college love, Cindy Silva. They had three children together Joe, Lily, and Annie. The couple got divorced in 1994 because of his million in the settlement. He was also accused of repeated cheating, which cost him $80. He also had a child Liam with his ex-girlfriend Bridget Rooney.
Costner is dealing with turmoil not only in his private life but also at the workplace. According to rumours, the “Dances with Wolves” star would leave “Yellowstone” after the fifth season due to clash with the show’s creator Taylor Sheridan. Numerous arguments between them are said to have resulted from the demanding shooting schedule, which kept Costner away from his wife and children.
