At India Couture Week, Bhumi Pednekar strutted down the runway for designer Varun Bahl wearing a fishnet skirt and a bralette with gold hand embroidery. Since the beginning of her profession, Pednekar has demonstrated an innate sense of style by expertly choosing attire to flatter her. In a gold dress that highlighted her stomach and showcased the ethereal allure of a free-flowing skirt, Pednekar enthralled spectators.
Pednekar says, “I have known Varun for 17 years and he never ceases to amaze me. I would love to wear this for a red carpet as the silhouettes is so beautiful, and would complement all our Indian body types. It is so sexy and is super versatile.” Varun Bahl’s collection, Inner Bloom showcased artisanal embroideries with beautiful 3D flowers that are synonymous with his label.
Bahl introduced youthful and jovial silhouettes on stage, giving the clothes a modern and fresh vibe. The embroideries imparted a wild grace to the designs with their elaborate intricacy.
A striking and contemporary look was created by the collection’s use of seamless patchwork embroideries, asymmetrical cuts, and voluminous materials in addition to floral embroidery. Black, moss green, petal pinks, lavender-pink, vibrant fuchsia, ember red, vermilion red, and seafoam blue are among the collection’s colour options. These hues give the patterns life and depth, producing a contemporary and handcrafted visual feast for the eyes.
Bridal couture-clad models exuded a dreamy, playful, and edgy vibe. The contemporary bride will love the edgy yet strongly handcrafted designs of Bahl. The collection aims to resurrect and highlight the exquisite craftsmanship and fine detailing that genuinely distinguish bridal fashion.
