The television actress Suchandra died in an accident on Saturday night. She is the lead star of the Bengali show circuit and has been shooting for the same yesterday. For her journey back home, she booked a bike ride, which was then hit by a truck.
Suchandra has been residing at Panihati and the accident occurred at Ghosh Para. The person who was driving the bike tried to stop his vehicle as the cycle was heading towards them. Suddenly, due to a crash, they both fell, Suchandra and the driver. She was a distance away from the motorcycle when the truck ran over her.
As the calamity took place, the locals staying in that area started protesting on the BT road against the authority for their avoidance that such a road accident occurred and to take measures against rash driving. Later on, the police came and handled the situation.
The actress rose to popularity from her acting in the sensational Bengali show, Gouri Elo which means ‘Here comes Gouri.’ The entire team of the serial Circuit is suffering from a loss and is in a state of complete sorrow. She has even done many small roles in TV shows and was best known for her jolly nature. It is a relief although, as the truck driver has been arrested by the Police.
