“My dream girl said yes to forever,” captioned Chris to the photo of his proposal via Instagram on Sunday. The pictures reveal that he went down on one knee by the waterfront while surrounded by a romantic setup of candles and rose petals.
The couple first drew attention during the season 7 of the Bachelor in Paradise, as they were in the centre of the some of the most intense drama on the show.
While Chris was eliminated in week 1 of Tayshia Adams and Clare Crawley’s season of The Bachelorette, he was later introduced to the beach in episode 4.
The landscape design salesman had met the former expat and Jessenia Cruz previous to the start of filming in June 2021. Although, Chris and Jessenia were quick to couple up, Alana’s entry in episode 7 threw a wrench in their relationship.
Chris proceeded to kiss Alana in open in front of Jessenia, which led to many of their co-stars calling him out for his behaviour. After being confronted by several of the co-stars, he decided to leave the show, and Alana ended up exiting the same night.
