Ayan Mukerji reveals Ranbir Kapoor hasn’t charged any money to star in Brahmastra; Says, “Iske baigaar hum yeh film ko bana hi nahi paate”

Ever since the film ‘Brahmastra’ got released it has been making headlines with controversial statements, boycott trends yet the spectacular screen presence and performance along with top notch VFX effects led the movie exceed the boundaries of commercial success with grand box office collection. Although the film got mixed responses it recorded with a breakthrough amount of crossing 350 crores mark worldwide and so far the film has collected 225-225.80 crore in all languages.

Starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the leads, Shah Rukh Khan, Nagarjuna and Dimple Kapadia in cameo roles and Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles the movie got released on 9th of this September.

The director of the film Ayaan Mukherjee is the author behind the story and the decade long project of his dream. The proclamation of the movie was hatched long before in 2014. Multiple controversies encompassing the film seems never ending while a recent fact left everyone in utter surprise. In case you don’t know, Ranbir Kapoor hasn’t charged any money to star in the film as affirmed by Ayaan Mukerji. Yes you heard right ! Director Ayan Mukerji while promoting the film in a talk show made that striking revelation about RK. There the lead actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were also present.

He said while interviewing, “Yeh film hamari bohut hi zid aur personal sacrifices se bani hai. So yes, yeh sach hai ki jo Ranbir ki price as a star, actor it is on a film, he did not take anything for the making of Brahmastra. Aur main manta hoon ke iske baigaar hum yeh film ko bana nahi paate. It is a very very big thing kyuki it would not have been possible,”
