Arnold Schwarzenegger is in recovery after undergoing a surgical procedure to get a pacemaker.
During the Monday’s episode on Arnold’s Pump Club podcast, the 76-year-old shared that he underwent a surgery to get a pacemaker implanted.
“I have some personal news to share. Last Monday, I had surgery for a pacemaker and became a little bit more of a machine,” he said.
Despite admitting the sharing much about his personal health, goes against his upbringing in Austria, the actor shared that he wanted to have transparency since many have already shared their heart health stories with him. Moreover, it also gives them the courage to face their health crisis and talking helps.
“First of all, I want you to know I’m doing great! said Arnold. He added that post undergoing surgery on Monday, he was already attending an environmental event on Friday with his friends and fellow fitness crusader Jane Fonda, whom he has praised to be “looking fantastic” and “healthy.”
