Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli were blessed with a baby girl on January 11. Anushka delivered the baby at the Breach Candy hospital in Mumbai. On Monday afternoon, Virat took to his social media handles to announce the birth of their daughter and requested all to respect their privacy at the moment.
Virat- Anushka are one of the biggest celebrity couples in the country and it is not surprising that all eyes are glued to get a glimpse of the baby. Their pregnancy announcement in August 2020 also turned out to be the most-liked tweet of 2020, such is their popularity as a couple.
Therefore, in order to safeguard their privacy, the couple has put some strict restrictions in the hospital. No one can visit them in the hospital and the couple didn’t even allow the close relatives to visit them in the hospital. They also have decided to not accept flowers or gifts. The security is so tight that visitors and staffs of the nearby rooms are not even allowed to get a sneak in Anushka’s room.
Meanwhile, the hospital on their part has strictly instructed their staff not to click photos who have access to Anushka’s room. Although the paparazzi are waiting outside the hospital to capture the first glimpse of the newborn baby girl.
