Anurag Kashyap apologises to Kangana Ranaut for hurting her with jibes during Manmarziyaan promotions

After Kangana Ranaut called Swara Bhasker and Taapsee Pannu ‘needy outsiders’ on national television, things became rather dirty on social media.

Taapsee and Swara have gone all out to gang up against the Manikarnika actress and they have been mudslinging on her ever since.

Director Anurag Kashyap in an interview with NDTV stated that he wanted to put the the issues between Kangana and Taapsee in place. He stated Kangana was a “close friend”. However things went downhill because Taapsee ad Anurag Kashyap had made fun of Kangana during the promotions of Manmarziyaan.

Anurag has been quoted as saying, “Kangana has been hurt by that [Manmarziyaan incident]” he further told the portal, ” “I am saying okay, if you are hurt by that, I will apologize for that. That’s what friends do. But she has gone on to a mode where ‘If are not with me you are my enemy’.”I am saying okay, if you are hurt by that, I will apologize for that. That’s what friends do. But she has gone on to a mode where ‘If are not with me you are my enemy’.”

Anurag Kashyap further went on to say, he had called Kangana to sort things out between Taapsee and her. He has been quoted as saying, “Taapsee is also a friend and I said that two friends are there and why are they saying things to each other… I called her (Kangana) and asked her and she put the whole conversation on social media and I was just there like a friend trying to sort things out.”

It was a few days ago when Kangana was invited for an interaction by a channel where she called Taaspee and Swara “B-Grade actresses”, “Swara Bhasker, Taapsee Pannu-type log” and also described them as ” Chaploos and sycophants”.

Anurag has further said, “It is all becoming so accusatory.”
