- The Dangal movie lead actor Amir Khan has been away from the theatre’s screen for the past three years after the release of Thugs of Hindustan. The movie miserably failed in the theatres and was a drop for all the movie cast. but, as Amir is a perfectionist and always take full responsibility for his movies, he mentioned in the award ceremony of Cinestaan India’s Storytellers Contest in 2018,
“I take full responsibility for Thugs not working with the audience. I think we went wrong but I would like to take full responsibility for that. You can be sure we tried our level best. We didn’t leave any stone unturned but somewhere we went wrong.”
Amir made an announcement on his birthday in 2019 about his next film Laal Singh Chaddha with Kareena Kapoor in the lead role, the film is directed by Secret Superstar fame Advait Chandan, the movie a remake of Tom Hanks’ 1994 Oscar-winning film Forrest Gump.
Finally, after the break of three years, the audience is excited to watch Amir on-screen, as the movie is the remake of the oscar-winning of Forrest Gump. Amir is already giving his optimum dedication to the movie, the actor has already lost 20 kg for the movie.
The film got delayed from the actual schedule date due to a pandemic and will be hitting the theatres by December 2021.
