Hyderabad Police have arrested National Award-winning actor Allu Arjun in connection with the tragic death of a 39-year-old woman during a stampede-like situation at the Sandhya Theatre on December 4. The incident occurred during the premiere of his highly anticipated film, Pushpa 2: The Rule, when an overwhelming crowd of fans gathered to see the actor, leading to chaos.

The victim, Revathi, a Dilsukhnagar resident, had attended the premiere with her husband and two children. The stampede not only claimed her life but also left several others injured. A case has been registered against Allu Arjun under multiple sections, including Section 118(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), which carries a potential punishment of 1 to 10 years.
