Alia Bhatt shares an earnest message for Team India, writes, “We hold our heads up high”

The ICC World Cup 2023 has been a thrilling adventure for the Indian team and their fans. Having won all the matches throughout the tournament, Indian team wouldn’t win the finals despite making hard efforts. The finale match which was held at the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahemdabad has been a bizarre roller coaster ride.
Celebrities from the film industry also graced the stadium with their appearance. Post the dynamic performance leading to India’s loss many personalities shared warm wishes uplifting the team’s spirits.
The Bollywood diva Alia Bhatt took to her instagram account and shared a Story featuring the entire Indian cricket team. She captioned it as, “Our hearts are forever WON. Well played team India. We hold our heads up high”
Alia and Ranbir Kapoor did not attend the world cup finals unlike other celebs. Actors such as Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Anushka Sharma, Athiya Shetty, and Vivek Oberoi made it to Ahemdabad to witness the historic match.
However, Ranbir did attend the semi-finale between India and New Zealand. The beloved couple Siddharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani also spotlighted the match. Even they couldn’t made it to the finals but cheered for team India from their homes. After the disheartening result, they also shared the same feeling.
Siddharth took to his Instagram account and shared a note writing, “Win or lose, it’s always ‘India India’ for us. Team India, keep growing stronger and congratulations on an outstanding tournament.”
While Kiara re-posted a picture of the Indian team from their official instagram account and dropped a red heart emoji.
Many other celebrities such as Kareena Kapoor, Ayushman Khurrana, Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, Kajol, Sunil Shetty also came forward and poured in their sincere gratitude.
