Khiladi Kumari is unstoppable. When the whole industry is shut due to the coronavirus-imposed lockdown, he became the first, from the B’town to resume shoots, with, of course, precautions and necessary preventive measures.
Akshay Kumar reunited with ace director R. Balki to shoot an advertisement for the Government to spread awareness about the ongoing pandemic and post lockdown responsibilities that an individual has to follow.
A picture from the set of the shoot has surfaced on the Internet since Monday, where we can see Akshay donning a mask and maintaining ‘six feet ki doori’, with director R. Balki. This shows that Akshay was extremely careful in his new endeavours and he, also obtained permission from the Maharashtra State Police to shoot this ad campaign. Check out the pictures from the set.
Before venturing on this campaign, Akshay recently teamed up with many celebrities and cricketers to raise a collective message dedicated towards frontline health care workers and expressing their gratitude for fighting against this contagious disease.
Opening up about this shoot, director R. Balki said, “Akshay and I have shot this ad campaign for the Government of India to make people aware of their responsibilities post lockdown. Things might seem difficult but through this ad, we now know what all precautions need to be taken to shoot in the post lockdown era. Our producer Anil Naidu made everything seem so effortless as we all maintained social distancing. The shoot happened smoothly following all hygiene protocols, ensuring minimum crew with maximum efficiency and safety.”
R. Balki and Akshay have united before as well to deliver films with social messages, including PadMan, Mission Mangal. This ad shoot will be aired soon for the audiences, who were waiting for long to see Akshay back on screen. More power to you
