Akshay Kumar filed Rs.500 core defamation suit on YouTuber because of allegations of the actor aiding in Rhea Chakraborty’s escape to Canada.

The YouTuber reportedly earned Rs.15 lakhs for spreading fake news on his YouTube channel. He uses Akshay Kumar’s name in SSR’s death case.

Actor Akshay Kumar has filed a Rs.500-crore defamation suit against Youtuber Rashid Siddiqui who named the actor in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. The YouTuber was earlier arrested by the police for spreading fake news against Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray and his son Aditya Thackeray.

According to Midday, Rashid Siddqui, a YouTuber and a civil engineer from Bihar alleges in his YouTube videos that Akshay helped Rhea Chakraborty escape to Canada. He further adds they had secret meetings with Mumbai Police and Aditya Thackeray regarding the late actor’s death. The YouTuber claims that Akshay was unhappy about Sushant Singh Rajput bagging film like MS Dhoni.
 
The YouTuber reportedly earned over Rs. 15 lakhs in four months for spreading content on late actor’s death and for spreading fake news on his YouTube video. The YouTube channel that owns is titled as ‘FF News’.
 
Reportedly, a case has been filed by Shiva Sena’s legal cell advocate Dharmendra Mishra. The police has filed the case on charges of defamation, public mischief and intentional insult. The court has granted anticipatory bail to Siddiqui and asked him to cooperate with the police in the investigation.
