It’s been a few weeks since Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise and many assumptions and accusations have been made on social media. The actor’s death has brought in major conversations of nepotism as well.
The latest reports regarding the case suggest the involvement of Sooraj Pancholi and Salman Khan in Sushant’s suicide case. In an interview with Etimes, Sooraj Pancholi’s parents, Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Waheb have addressed these accusations.
They feel that Sooraj’s name is being dragged into the case without any proof or reason. She quoted, “People are unnecessarily dragging Sooraj into this. They just need a helpless person to blame everything for.” In another statement, she also quoted, “Sooraj and Sushant were not ‘friends’ as such but they knew each other and they spoke to each other cordially whenever they met.” She also said that people are targeting her son because they have “too much free time” and because their identities are not known on their social media handles hence rubbishing all the accusations against her son.

His father, Aditya Pancholi has been updated on all the comments against his son. He added, “There is this crazy guy. Some time ago he did some little bit of acting. His name is Puneet Vashist. He wrote something crazy on his Facebook page. He wrote that this whole thing is because Sushant’s manager Disha was pregnant with Sooraj’s child and committed suicide because of him.” Aditya also mentioned that Sooraj is often dragged in suicide cases like Jiah Khan’s case and now Sushant’s which has really disturbed Sooraj. His father is also scared that Sooraj will go into depression and could take a drastic step because of such accusations. Aditya also feels that because of these controversies, Sooraj’s career has been wasted.
Back in 2017, reports say that Sushant and Sooraj had a tiff after which Salman Khan reprimanded Sushant. Talking about this incident, Aditya said that this incident had never occurred and Sooraj has clarified this on record as well. Lastly, Aditya also addressed the ongoing Jiah Khan’s suicide case and how it affected Sooraj’s mental state. He added that Jiah’s mother’s reports of her daughter being murdered is invalid as, after 7 days of her demise, there was a suicide note found. Additionally, he also said that Salman Khan had never been involved in Jiah’s case and he never called the CBI.
