Actress Chahatt Khanna received a Rs. 100 crore legal notice from Conman Sukesh, obliging her to retract the statement

‘Damage of reputation’ – Sukesh Chandrasekar slams Chahatt Khanna with Rs. 100 Crore legal notice.

The Bade Achhe Lagte Hai Actor Chahatt Khanna has received a legal notice from conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar about her statements. He has also asked Chahatt for an unqualified apology and damages in the amount of Rs 100 crore.

According to the lawyer for the suspected conman, Chahatt’s comments damaged his reputation. She had previously said in an interview with ETimes that Sukesh had proposed to her when she was imprisoned in Tihar.

She said, “He was dressed in a fancy shirt, had sprayed on a lot of perfume, and was wearing a gold chain. He introduced himself as the owner of a popular south Indian TV channel and the nephew of J Jayalalitha”. Chahatt also revealed, “He said he had been arrested in an EVM-tampering case during elections but was being given VIP treatment in jail. He said he was a fan of mine and had watched my TV show, Bade Acche Lagte Hain, and wanted to meet me. I was frantic and told him, ‘Why would you call me here? I have left my six-month-old baby at home and have come here thinking it’s an event.’ Then, before I knew it, he went down on one knee and said he wanted to marry me. I shouted at him, saying, ‘I am married, and I have two kids.’ But he said my husband was not the right man for me and that he would be a father to my kids. I got so anxious that I started crying,” Chahatt said.”

Chahatt went on to say that she was demanded to pay Rs. 10 lakh and subjected to blackmail over a videotape that had been stolen from Tihar.

“I was helpless. I didn’t want anyone to know that I was in Tihar jail. I was also worried about it affecting my marriage, and so I agreed to give them the money. Among other things, it did take a toll on my marriage, and my husband and I got separated. Maybe I should have approached the police and lodged a complaint. But things kept happening one after the other, and I just wanted to get out of it,” she added.

Chahatt Khanna has been allotted seven days by Sukesh’s advocate Anant Malik to withdraw her allegations or else she’ll have to face the case, as per Times Now reports.

In a Rs 200 crore extortion case involving some of the greatest celebrities, like Jacqueline Fernandez, Nora Fatehi, Nikki Tamboli, and others, Sukesh has been listed as the primary offender.
Both Nora and Jacqueline previously told a similar tale, and both women have consented to serve as witnesses for the ED. Both actors have received multiple lavish presents from Sukesh Chandrashekhar, including residences in exotic destinations, cars, and designer handbags.
