Actress Ananya Pandey summoned by NCB for questioning in the drug case

After Ananya Pandey faces a raid in her Mumbai home, she is further summoned by the NCB for questioning in the drug case further

According to reports, Actress Ananya Panday was summoned by the NCB today at 2pm for questioning.

Ananya was spotted leaving her residence late Thursday afternoon after she was asked to appear before the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for questioning in their ongoing investigations. She was seen leaving for the NCB’s office in a white salwar suit and glasses.


These developments were seen after a team of the anti-drugs cell visited her home this afternoon.

Furthermore, while speaking to the media a NCB officer clarified the facts. They said,  just because Ananya was summoned, it did not mean she was being investigated.

The actress was also seen arriving with her actor father Chunky Panday at the office.A team of female police were seen at the office, to maintain a safe distance between, the actress and the paparazzi as she made her way into the office building in South Mumbai.

He also said,”The investigation is going on. When NCB officials visit a person or location for questioning, that does not mean the person is a culprit or being investigated. There are several procedures being followed.”

Apart from Ananya, another team of officers were spotted arriving at Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s home Mannat.The officers were seen with legal documents, which were believed to be the case files of Aryan Khan who is currently under custody for the ongoing drugs case.

According to reports, the search operations at the celebrity homes comes after the central agency on Wednesday submitted chat messages of Aryan with an “upcoming Bollywood actress” to a Mumbai court. That also claimed that they both were discussing drugs.

Aryan, who has already spent over 18 days in custody,. He will have his next bail hearing heard on October 26.

His bail plea will came up before Justice N.W. Sambre with his lawyers seeking an urgent hearing on Friday or Monday. However, the Bombay High Court have scheduled the hearing for Tuesday.
