Aaradhya Bachchan, daughter of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, has presented yet another petition at the Delhi High Court to eliminate false and deceptive health details displayed on multiple websites.
Her fresh petition emerged after Delhi High Court initially ordered Google and entertainment social media platform Bollywood Times and additional websites to erase content selected by Aaradhya in her initial petition.
A notice went to Google after the Delhi High Court heard the petition filed by Aaradhya,13.
The High Court of April 20, 2023 instructed YouTube to remove immediately all fake videos related to Aaradhya’s health condition through its platform since she filed a petition about misleading YouTube content that made false claims about her illness.
The videos spread lies about her death which Aaradhya documented through her previous petition.
Every individual regardless of if they are celebrity or not holds the right to dignity including the protection of their physical and mental well-being, said the court.
The second petition originated from Aaradhya because various websites and social media networks failed to honor the high court’s directive.
The court will hear this subject again on March 17.
