Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s wife Aaliya Siddiqui has sent a legal notice to the actor, a few days back, seeking divorce. In recent updates, Aaliya opened about her marriage and reached to explain her side of the story, as for why she slammed Nawaz with divorce.
In an interview to The Times of India, Aaliya said, “The most important thing in a marriage, self-respect, was long gone in our case. I was made to feel lonely and a nobody in this relationship. Even Nawazuddin’s brother Shamas was a troublemaker. I have decided to retain my maiden name, Anjana Kishor Pandey because I want to build an identity for myself”
Aaliya added that there is no going back on her decision and she seeks sole custody of her two kids. She also reportedly said, Nawaz has not met the kids since past 3-4 months and he doesn’t even care, nor does the kids. She also added that even though Nawaz never hit her all these years but she was mentally and physically tortured by his family. She further alleged, because of Nawaz’s rude and argumentative behaviour, his ex-wife left him.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui is tight-lipped on this matter until now, and he declined to comment on anything on this issue. He was served with the legal notice for divorce via mail and WhatsApp while he was in Budhana taking care of his ailing mother.
