5 Bollywood movies ruined by Kareena Kapoor with her overacting

Here are the list of movie roles that Kareena took too seriously that she scared off the TV serial bahus.

  1. Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon

Without a doubt, Main Prem ki Diwani Hoon topped the list! Too much? Kareena and Hrithik both made an effort to show who was the superior over-actor. We cringed so hard because even the most basic emotions, like laughing or sobbing, were overdone! Kareena breaks down in tears and tears the sleeves off of Hrithik’s shirt in one of the sequences. Whoa!

Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham

Kareena overacted in this one as the famed Poo, the spoiled college girl, but fortunately, the part called for it. Poo was all about loving oneself. The scene in the movie where Poo is getting ready for prom is our favourite. Her comment, “Tumhe koi haq nahi banta ki tum itni khoobsurat lago… not fair!” was the icing on the cake.

Khushi

This Bollywood version of the popular Tamil film flopped miserably at the box office. While it’s hard to pick out one of her outstanding performances, we believe that in this specific movie, she was given too much freedom to overact. Yes, some of these scenes are quite terrifying. Don’t watch it by yourself!

Mujhse Dosti Karoge

A common misconception is that Kareena has overacted in every movie she has done with Hrithik. This one is just another illustration. Admit it, even though you still watch this corny and cliched movie whenever it comes on TV, it’s one of your guilty pleasures!

 Kambakkht Ishq

Kareena took up the role of a model-like surgeon in this movie. She confesses her love to Akshay Kumar in the climactic sequence, and there is so much overacting that it will traumatise you! There are moments when we wonder whether Kareena ever judges herself after watching these films.
