MP Jaya Bachchan of Samajwadi Party spoke on all the allegations made to Bollywood in the light of SSR suicide case. On the second day of Monsoon season Jaya raised her concern regarding the remarks made by Kangana Ranaut and Ravi Kishan.
Sushant’s case has unveiled the drug culture in Bollywood and questions were raised regarding their work ethics too. “People in the entertainment industry are flogged by social media. People who made their name in the industry have called it gutter. I completely disagree. I hope that the government tells such people not to use such language”, Jaya stated on Tuesday in Parliament. Earlier Kangana has called Bollywood ‘gutter’.
She further added referring to the comments made by BJP MP Ravi Kishan and said, “Just because there are some people you can’t tarnish the image of entire industry. I am ashamed that yesterday one of our members in Lok Sabha who is from film industry spoke against it. It’s a shame”.
