The Rajesh A Krishnan-directed film stunned with its first-day collection, breaking records to become the highest opening day grosser for a female-led Hindi film. On Friday, the first day of release, the comedy grossed Rs 10.28 crore in India and Rs 20.07 crore overseas. According to reports, the picture achieved an overall Hindi occupancy rate of 26.34 percent.
The Good Friday holiday has benefited the crew, and the movie is likely to profit from the extended weekend.
