In a post shared earlier today, Apoorva greeted her followers with the caption, “THE story time 6pm today on YouTube,” calling out to her “cute little red flags”—a name she fondly uses for her audience. Dressed casually in a crop top that reads STAY FERAL, she is seen smiling and holding a camera remote, signaling a content drop later this evening. The post also includes a YouTube link, teasing her much-awaited comeback video.
This marks her third post since reactivating her Instagram after the massive backlash surrounding her appearance on the controversial YouTube roast show India’s Got Latent, hosted by comedian Samay Raina. The show sparked outrage, FIRs, and heavy trolling online. Apoorva, one of the few women on the panel, became a target of vicious online abuse.
Just yesterday, she had posted a carousel containing 19 screenshots of sexually explicit and abusive threats, stating in the caption, “that’s not even 1%.” The response to the post was a flood of support from fellow creators and fans who rallied behind her, demanding stricter cyberbullying laws and better platform accountability.
She followed it up with a cryptic text-only post that read, “Don’t take away the story from the storyteller,” suggesting her intent to reclaim her narrative.
