Hyderabad police have arrested Tollywood superstar Allu Arjun following a tragic stampede during the premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule at Sandhya Theatre. The incident claimed the life of a woman, Revathi, and left her 8-year-old son critically injured.
Arjun was taken into custody by the task force police and brought to the Chikkadapalli Police Station for questioning. The authorities have registered a case against the actor in connection with the incident. Reports suggest that the stampede occurred due to overcrowding at the theatre during the much-anticipated movie’s premiere.

Three individuals—a co-owner of the theatre, the senior manager, and the lower balcony in-charge—have been arrested as part of the investigation. According to the police, the theatre management and the actor’s team failed to inform authorities about the visit or make adequate security arrangements.
