The government had also inaugurated a Regulatory Compliance Portal as a primary online repository of all central and state-level compliances to decrease the regulatory compliance burden of citizens and businesses.

The Union Minister of Power, R.K Singh, newly reviewed the Action Plans of 2022 of the Ministry of Power and its sub-nodal organisations — BEE, CTU, POSOCO, CEA and CERC. Summarizing the ambitions of the ministry and its agencies for ease of doing business, the statement announced that the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) has simplified the implementation of the Standards & Labelling (S&L) proposal.

It had also initiated digitalisation and online tracking of the status of petitions for manufacturers, among other initiatives. Further, it announced that the Central Transmission Utility (CTU) has reduced the Connectivity Bank Guarantee under revised RE procedure unlocking about ₹400 crore for RE Developers.

R.K. Singh announced that efforts to ease regulatory pressure should be used at the state level as well and uploaded on the RCB portal for the advantage of all customers and stakeholders.
