Union Education Minister to hold virtual meet with all state education secretaries to carry out a discourse on a number of issues

Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal to hold a meeting with all the state secretaries to discuss a number of issues.

Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal is going to hold a meet with all the states and UT’s secretaries today. Well, according to the sources, Education Minister Pokhriyal will be discussing a number of issues and agendas as in, Covid-19 & online education, implementation of the Nation Education Policy 2020 (NEP).

Additionally, whether the standard 12th examinations are feasible or not, in relation to the prevailing situation, there’ll be a discussion on the same.

In addition to this, the Minister is also going to interact with vice-chancellors of central universities on Tuesday. Also, there’ll be a meeting with the directors of various IITs and IIMs, likely to be scheduled later this week.

Apart from the discussion on the efforts made by the states during the Covid catastrophe in the direction of education, minister Pokhriyal will also hold talks on the strategies to implement the NEP 2020, according to the officials of the Education Ministry.

Furthermore, Education Minister Pokhriyal will review the ground situation in the different parts of the country. Though, the CBSE is also going to analyze the ground situation in different parts of the country in order to make a decision regarding the 12th board examinations, which are, as of now, scheduled to be held from the 1st of June.
