MBBS students returned from Ukraine can complete their internship in India: NMC

Ukraine-returned Indian MBBS students who were unable to finish their necessary 12-month internship owing to the continuous conflict would be permitted to complete the remainder of their internship in India if they passed the foreign medical graduate exam (FMGE) before applying for such internship here.

The National Medical Commission (NMC) today extended to war-affected students the respite it had provided to Indian MBBS students returning from overseas owing to COVID-19 on November 18, 2021, in a circular titled “Guidelines for Registration of Foreign Medical Graduates.”
