The police got involved in investigating an angle of narco-terrorism in the case. Further, the interrogation of suspects also began.

Neeraj Thakur of Special cell, in a press conference on Saturday, informed that the operation had been underway for months. He revealed that the drugs had arrived from Afghanistan and were transported from Mumbai to Delhi by the sea in hidden containers.

Thakur disclosed, ” The drugs were to be further processed at a factory near Shivpuri in Madhya Pradesh.” He added that a house was rented in Faridabad to hide them. The drugs were supposed to be supplied in Punjab.

There are clues that money to facilitate the operations may have been coming from Pakistan as well, asserts Neeraj Thakur.
