Food delivery giants Zomato and Swiggy on Wednesday witnessed a technical glitch at their servers during the rush of orders amid the lunch hour.

Food delivery giants Zomato and Swiggy on Wednesday witnessed a technical glitch at their servers during the rush of orders amid the lunch hour. Several customers took to Twitter to report the issue, wherein they were unable to place orders and encountered an error saying “Something went wrong, please try again later.”

Both platforms had tweeted about the technical glitch at their end — while simultaneously assuring customers to fix the problem soon.

“Hi there, we are facing a temporary glitch. Please be assured our team is working on this and we will be up and running soon”. Zomato replied to a customer over Twitter.

On the other hand, while addressing a customer’s complaint. Swiggy tweeted, “We apologize for the long delay we are currently facing due to a technical glitch. This is not usual with us and our best minds are working on it to resolve it at the earliest. Please bear with us.”
