Wipro reports net profit of ₹3,087 crore in Q4

Revenue from operations surged 28% to Rs 20,860 crore in Q4.

On Friday, April 29, IT giant Wipro reported its financial results for the fourth quarter ended on March 2022. The consolidated net profit was recorded at Rs 3,087 crore in Q4 which is up 4% from Rs 2,972 crore in the same quarter the previous year.

Revenue from operations surged 28% to Rs 20,860 crore in Q4. For the year FY22, the annual revenue rose 27% YoY to $10.4 billion. Revenue from the IT services was recorded at $2,722 million in Q4, representing a rise of 26% YoY.

“We have had an outstanding year, finishing with $10.4 billion in revenues, and an industry-leading growth of 27% year on year. This is our sixth straight quarter of strong revenue growth at or over 3%,” said CEO Thierry Delaporte.

Today, Wipro shares were trading in the red. The shares closed lower 3% at Rs 508/piece on the National Stock Exchange(NSE).
