
According to Interbrand, a well-known worldwide brand consultant, the IT behemoth TCS and the most valuable firm in India, Reliance Industries, have topped the list of India’s most valuable brands. Both of these companies are based in India. With a brand worth of 1.09 lakh crore, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) came in first place on the list of the 50 Most Valuable Indian Brands for the year 2023.
Reliance Industries Ltd., which is controlled by billionaire Mukesh Ambani, comes in at number two with a brand value of Rs 65,320 crore. Jio, the telecom and digital company that is part of his group, is also among the top five most valuable brands, with a value of Rs 49,027 crores.
Since its first publication in 2014, the Best Indian Brands report has evolved into an authoritative reference to the competitive environment of the country’s brand economy, according to Interbrand, which is celebrating the survey’s tenth anniversary this year.
This year’s edition demonstrates exceptional development, with a total list value of Rs 8.3 lakh crores (USD 100 billion), representing a tremendous 167 percent increase in marketing over the previous decade. This is the first time that the overall value of the table has gone beyond the USD100 billion barrier since it was created.
The information technology business Infosys comes in at number three with a total brand value of Rs 52,323 crore.
According to what was found, “the top three brands alone account for a staggering 46 percent of the total value of the top ten brands,”
In addition, the value of the complete product is increased by a total of forty percent because of the top five brands.
Jio is in fourth place, while HDFC is in fifth place.
Other brands that made it into the top 10 are ICICI, Airtel, Mahindra, Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), and State Bank of India.
The report went on to say that “this year marks a historic moment,” since for the first time in the last ten years, three IT businesses have secured positions in the top five.
