Tata group announces to open its Vivanta Hotel in Bhubaneshwar

This is IHCL’s fourth hotel in Odisha. The new hotel will be located near Bhuvaneshwar Airport and will have 136 rooms and suites.

Tata group hospitality arm Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) announced on Monday the opening of Vivanta Hotel in Bhubaneshwar, Odisha. The new hotel which will be located near the Bhubaneshwar airport will have 136 rooms and suites.

 

“This opening is in line with IHCL’s vision to be present in all state capitals of India. We believe that the state of Odisha has tremendous business and tourism potential with its rich heritage and abundant natural beauty. We are delighted to launch Vivanta Bhubaneswar, making it a part of the city’s rapid evolution as a key business hub and a significant tourism destination,” Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, IHCL, said in an official statement.

This will be the IHCL’s fourth hotel in Odisha, including one under development.

The hotel boasts of contemporary design which pays tribute to the city’s vibrant spirit. IHCL’s stock price has come down from Rs. 147.4 to Rs. 146.75 on August 3.
