Q2 FY2021 Results: Colgate records profit of Rs 274 crore, 12% growth YoY

Colgate-palmolive India ltd on Wednesday announced its Q2 FY2021 results. The company reported a net profit of Rs 274.19 crore for the September quarter, a 12% growth YoY. It had posted a profit of Rs 244.11 crore in the corresponding quarter previous year.

The FMCG company posted a total income of Rs 1,293.05 crore during the Q2 FY2021 period as compared to Rs 1,230.43 crore during the FY2020 period. In the previous quarter, it posted Rs 1,046.90 crore revenue.

The Mumbai based company has reported diluted Earnings per Share (EPS) of Rs 10.08 for the period. It had posted EPS of Rs 7.29 for the previous Q1 June period.

Colgate stated, “The Board declared a First Interim Dividend for the Financial Year 2020-21 of Rs.18 pershare of Re 1 each (face value). The dividend payout to the shareholders will be Rs. 489.6 Crore and will be paid on and from November 17, 2020 to those shareholders whose names are on the Register of Members of the Company as on November 2, 2020.”
