
Florintree, a private equity firm focusing on growth-stage investments, has acquired a substantial stake in Videonetics, a leading video computing platform company based in Kolkata, India.
This transaction resulted in an exit for the financial investors, GenNext Ventures Fund, and a US-based global investor.
Videonetics, established in 2008 by the globally recognized scientist and inventor Dr. Tinku Acharya, has consistently been ranked as the top Video Management Software provider in India and among the top 5 in Asia (OMDIA Informa Tech 2021). The company has recently expanded its operations to Singapore to serve the Southeast Asian markets and is making strides in other regions.
