KEC International bags order worth Rs 1024 crore

A global infrastructure EPC major KEC International has won new order worth Rs 1,024 crore across its various businesses.

The company said its transmission & distribution business has secured orders for power transmission and distribution projects in India, Middle East, Africa and the Americas while its railways business has secured an order for a Doubling project including Track linking, Signaling & Telecommunication (S&T) and Overhead Electrification (OHE) works in India.

“We are pleased with the new order wins secured across our business verticals amidst global uncertainties. Our T&D order book continues to grow on the backdrop of orders secured across various geographies, especially in the international markets. The Railway order further strengthens our leadership in the conventional Railway segment,” said Mr Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO, KEC International Ltd.

Its civil business bagged an order in the cement segment while the solar segment secured an order for a 13.6 MW- peak rooftop solar project.

KEC International Ltd a global infrastructure Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) major, is the flagship company of four billion-dollar RPG Group and is currently executing projects in over 30 countries with a footprint in over 100 countries.

The share price of KEC International Ltd stood at 366.60, up by Rs 4.25 or 1.17% as of 11:44 am on 11th January 2021.
