Dabur India & Indian Oil Corporation have publicly stated an exclusive collaboration to provide direct access to Dabur’s product range to approximately 140 million Indane LPG consumer households in India.
As part of the agreement, Indian Oil’s Indane LPG distributors would become retail business partners for Dabur, assisting in the sale of the entire Dabur product line immediately to Indane LPG consumer households via the OMCs delivery network.
“Indian Oil and Dabur are collaborating on a technological and system integration to provide seamless delight to the entire product lifecycle, particularly Indane LPG users,” Dabur said in a statement.
The initiative will assist Dabur in leveraging Indian Oil’s accessibility to Indian households through booklets distributed to customers by IndianOil’s delivery personnel. An app will also be developed to assist customers in placing direct orders, which will be satisfied by IndianOil’s delivery personnel.
“This collaboration will help us connect to millions of Indane LPG consumers in urban, semi-urban, and rural areas, and it is an essential component of with us multi-channel go-to-market strategy. We have always worked hard to not only improve our direct reach to consumer households but also to improve their purchasing experience,” Dabur CEO Mohit Malhotra said.
IndianOil employs over 12,750 Indane distributors and over 90,000 delivery personnel. It serves 143 million households in the country.
