Amazon said that it will be impossible to meet the deadline. Which should be for imposing country of origin tag on the products. As it has more than lakhs of sellers. And asked the time of at least three months to execute the same. However, Flipkart to agreed for the same.

India has banned 59 Chinese goods. And is keen to promote the self reliance theory. Hence, by reducing growing deficit with china in trade. Marking country of origin will help in differentiating chinese products and products of other countries.
