On Tuesday, Freshworks, the Software-as-a-service ( SaaS) firm made an announcement about it appointing Johanna Jackman as its chief people officer.
According to a press release, Jackman has joined the executive team and she will be reporting to Girish Mathrubootham, the Chief Executive Officer and Dennis Woodside, the President.
In her new role, Jackman would be responsible for the global human resources strategy and operations of the company and overseeing HR business partnerships, talent acquisition, and employee development among others.
Mathrubootham said that her successful track record at high-growth tech companies and her international expertise working with global teams made her the perfect fit to support their diverse employee base who drive the long-term business.
He also added that JJ was a great addition to the Freshworks team.
Before taking up the new responsibility, Jackman served Airtable as its chief people officer where she played an important role in scaling talent and culture to meet objectives of big business.
Jackman, on taking up this new role said that Freshworks had incredible potential to become a multi-billion dollar software company and that she was excited to join the leadership team to elevate its already strong company culture.
As per the company, Nasdaq-listed Freshworks, whose headquarter is in California, the United States serves more than 65,000 customers worldwide.
