On the Apple Store, former US President Donald Trump’s platform “Truth Social” has surpassed famous social media giants Twitter and TikTok. This information was unexpectedly disclosed by Elon Musk, the new owner of Twitter, the second-placed microblogging service on the list.
“Truth Social is currently beating Twitter & TikTok on the Apple Store,” Musk, tweeted with a screenshot of the list.
Twitter is ranked second, followed by LiveIn, BeReal, and TikTok, which are ranked fifth and sixth, respectively. These are the current standings, which will most likely change in the near future.

The message comes amid a rush of speculation about Trump’s return to Twitter as Musk, a self-described “free speech absolutist,” assumes control of the firm.
Elon Musk reveals the truth
Trump, on the other hand, has clarified that he would not be returning to Twitter, where he had 89 million followers before being suspended, and will instead focus on Truth Social, a platform that has been plagued by issues since its introduction earlier this year.
“I am not going on Twitter. Am going to stay on Truth,” Trump was quoted telling Fox News. “I hope Elon buys Twitter because he’ll make improvements to it and he is a good man, but I am going to be staying on Truth.”
Musk’s takeover was also welcomed by Trump, who stated that Twitter was not his competitor.
Trump stated, “Truth Social will be a voice for me.” “And that’s something that no one else has.”
Following the Capitol Riots, Donald Trump was banned from Twitter on January 6, 2021. Citing the possibility of additional instigation of violence.
Many perceive Elon Musk’s takeover of Twitter as the first step toward Trump regaining control of the key platform. “Free expression is the backbone of a healthy democracy, and Twitter is the digital town square where issues critical to humanity’s future are debated,” Tesla CEO Elon Musk said after the $44 billion transaction was revealed.
While Truth Social has had technical difficulties. And is yet to gain national attention, it is unclear whether Trump would return to Twitter following his original dismissal. In fact, he intends to run for President in 2024. Until then, the looming Donald Trump question looms, particularly in the minds of Musk’s most ardent detractors.
