Bajaj Auto Ltd. said on Monday that total sales fell by 22% in December 2022 to 2,81,486 units.
In December 2021, the business reported total sales of 3,62,470 units, according to a statement from Bajaj Auto.
According to the report, two-wheeler sales decreased 23% to 2,47,024 units from 3,18,769 units in the same month last year.
Sales of two-wheelers on the domestic market fell by 2% last month to 1,25,525 units from 1,27,593 units in December 2021.
Two-wheeler exports decreased 36% from 1,91,176 units a year ago to 1,21,499 units this year.
Additionally, sales of commercial vehicles decreased by 21% to 34,462 units from 43,701 units in December 2021.
According to the firm, domestic commercial vehicle sales increased by 25% to 23,030 units in the same month last year from 18,386 units.
However, commercial vehicle exports fell by 55% to 11,432 units in December 2022 from 25,315 units the previous month, according to Bajaj Auto.
