Amidst this launch, Amazon has decided to introduce a new feature called ‘Adaptive Volume’. This is enabled in Alexa that will make it respond at a faster and louder by filtering and detecting noisy sounds from the background.
The company’s strategy was to create a system where allow its users to identify Alexa’s responses despite heavy noises from background. The device will respond against loud sounds such as the sound of a dishwasher, people chatting, or loud music played from any other device.

However, Amazon doesn’t suggest the adaptive volume mechanism in the opposite way. Alexa will only react to sounds that are intensely high and not with the usual pitched ones.
