Vodafone Idea CEO assures customers of superior services and best-in-class propositions

The telecom operator is set to declare its Q1FY22 results tomorrow.

The Managing Director (MD) and CEO of Vodafone Idea (Vi), Ravinder Takkar, reached out to the company’s customers through a mailer and assured them of “superior services” as well as “best-in-class propositions.”

Furthermore, the CEO thanked the subscribers for their constant support as the telecom operator approaches Vi’s first anniversary. He said the telco came with a promise of better tomorrow, bringing the best in technology, services and solutions for the Digital Indian and Digital Bharat and that it would continue to deliver on this promise to keep users ahead.

Takkar also stated that the year 2020 had witnessed the effects of the unprecedented global pandemic and tested the resilience of the human spirit. “The year also saw the birth of the youngest telecom brand in the country – Vi – which in a short span of less than a year has become a brand you love”, Takkar added.

He continued saying that the telco’s network warriors made heroic efforts in keeping the network running all day through the lockdown to ensure that the users could work, study, transact, and get entertained from the safety of their homes.

At the end of March, Vi stated that it owed ₹1.57 lakh crore to the Centre, including ₹96,270 crore towards spectrum payments and the remaining towards adjusted gross revenue (AGR) liability.
