

Tata Power announced on Friday that it has secured a Letter of Intent (LoI) from REC Power Development and Consultancy for the development of the Jalpura Khurja Power Transmission project.
The estimated cost of the project stands at Rs 838 crore. The project special purpose vehicle (SPV) will be developed on a build-own-operate transfer (BOOT) basis to provide transmission service for 35 years from the scheduled date of commercial operation. RECPDCL, a wholly-owned subsidiary of REC Limited, has facilitated the bidding process for the project.
