Swiggy would build battery swapping stations for delivery partners across the country through their agreement with RBML. The company has claimed that the waiting time would be shorter and would result in more deliveries, as the battery swap takes less than five minutes and a single precharged battery would be able to travel up to 65-80 kilometres.
The company had said that they would train the delivery partners how to use the EV’s, swapping stations and the apps that monitors battery performance.
