Rupyz raises $1.2 million in a seed funding round led by Merak Ventures

Rupyz secures new funding, which shall be diverted towards strengthening its core technological offerings.

Rupyz, a Business-to-Business (B2B) SaaS startup has raised $1.2 million in a seed funding round led by early-stage venture capital firm Merak Ventures. The round also saw participation from undisclosed angel investors.

In the next 12-15 months, Rupyz aims at to onboarding 3,000 businesses and their latest investment will be utilised towards strengthening Rupyz’s core technological offerings as well.

The startup, founded by Dhaval Radia, Akshay Gupta, Gourav Gupta, and Palash Lunia, is a SaaS platform, which enables B2B commerce and omnichannel distribution for FMCG and consumer brands.

Co-founder and CEO Radia stated that the platform’s omni-commerce approach is not just improving operational efficiencies but is also amongst the first brands to introduce new method into how firms, retailers, distributors communicate and do business with one another.
