RailTel Corporation of India has been awarded a significant contract by the Mahatma Gandhi Institute Of Medical Sciences, Sevagram, Wardha. The order, valued at ₹12.85 crore excluding tax, involves the customisation, integration, deployment, implementation, and maintenance of various systems including the Hospital Information Management System (HIMS), Hospital Fire Safety Management System, Student/Academic Activity, Accounts, Campus Management System, and the MGIMS website.
The contract, which is domestic in nature, is set to be executed by 31 March 2032. RailTel confirmed that there is no interest from the promoter or promoter group in the entity that awarded the contract, and the transaction does not fall under related party transactions.
